Hello... I came across this piece among a collection of old wooden items... It didn't look that interesting until I put my nose to the larger of the two holes in the top... It smells strongly of old burnt tobacco... This is an old smoking pipe! I've never seen anything like it before! Question: Does anybody have any idea? I'd be most grateful for any information...

Looks handmade. Doesn't look practical for a smoking device..do the chambers attach? I was thinking it was a cigar holder?

YES... Thanks for that... I reckon it's a place to put part smoked cigars... The smell is quite strong and is definitely from burnt tobacco. The chambers don't seem to be attached.

      Thanks again
