    Here's a few more pics showing the construction details of this chest. Pics 1 & 2 are drawer dovetails, note also in pic 2 how each drawer has a nifty molded edge relief along the top of each side. Pic 3 is the top near one edge, showing one of two marks that suggest there once were arms holding a mirror, pic 4 is part of its back showing the remaining screw holes where the arms must have been, also where some kind of paper label used to be tacked on.

      That channel in the top edge of the drawer probably corresponds with a “guide” piece inside the dresser to keep the drawers aligned. Nice!
