This 2 1-2" silvertone brooch features an overlapping rhinestone wedding ring design, navettes of sapphire blue & teal, and a faceted round sapphire central stone that appears double pronged but that is illusory - the single pronged stone sits atop channel set small blue stones in a wheel pattern (see pic #2). Marked Hobe (1958-1983) and from the 1950s
So delicate, like a snowflake only better. I love that blue.
oh it must be the blue and that teal together that catches ones eye.
That's a beautiful brooch Jenni! I love the sapphire and teal colors!
Want a pretty one, Jenni! Nice find!
Thank you so much to all for the kind love

Lori thank you for your super comments, I love the blue & teal colors here too and was really happy to find this nicely designed Hobe brooch. They made some terrific pieces but you have to weed through to find them, some designs of theirs are quite plain & simple so this was a lucky find
Thank you Scott for the fabulous praise and enjoying the blue/teal colors here, they are quite nice together aren't they. You may remember an old saying, "blue and green, never seen", in other words never combine the two in fashion etc. but I've never thought they didn't look nice together, as a matter of fact one of my fave picture frames has a blue&green mosaic design
Thank you so much MrsT for your always lovely compliment, I'm really pleased that you enjoyed this Hobe piece. The appeal for me here was it has a striking, different look, my favorite things are the less common designs and this was indeed a rare and surprising Hobe find
Thank you Mezz3 for the love, it is very much appreciated & so glad that you liked this Hobe brooch - welcome to CW :)
