I just came across this. I really do not know much about it. I paid very little for it.
It really caught my eyes.

Mechanical reduction technique, a nice one to find. Spelter is pot metal but it does a pretty good job in the detail department. A lot of foundries had their in-house sculptors and that is who probably made this one. I have had a lot of them and worked on many more over the years and restored a number of them. Congrats on your find.
