1937 The Lions Club Good Luck Token

The Lions Club of London, Ontario

This is a piece I found a few years ago while cleaning out some the bins of electronics from dad's estate.

Commemorating the coronation of George VI and his wife Elizabeth as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Commonwealth.

Has verses such as, "help the blind", and "good luck token"

Some filler pictures of Ueli & Sansa from our frisbee time today....

    THE LIONS CLUB
The LIONS acronym also stands for Liberty, Intelligence, Our Nations' Safety.

Lions began in the United States in 1917 when a group of independent clubs responded to an idea presented to them by a young Chicago insurance agent, Melvin Jones.

LIONS AREN'T a religious organization. Most Lions have their own personal commitment, which all Lions are encourage to have. Likewise, Lions Clubs are not fraternal organizations with rituals or special oaths.

Yes, both pictures they are waiting on frisbee. His ear is pretty distinctive isn't it? And no one commented..he is wearing his mask!

Sansa does this crazy 180 jump/ kick flip she gets so excited. And he runs in a circle around her...looks like some circus act.

I'm learning from Anything obscure...throw a few dog photos in to increase the smiles!
