Wood handle and with snake head carved on butt and wooden sheath bound in twine. Would like to know a name/style and region this would have come from?
Blade is a little over 3 inches
Total length is just under 8 inches

VERY COOL, whatever it is or wherever it came from -- I hope somebody else here can help ID it further! :-) :-) :-)

It's middle eastern or Asian. Leaning towards Asian. Reminds me of the Kukri.

On further investigation, I think this is a Japanese ‘Kiridashi’. It has the right blade shape but would love to know how old it is!
