This unassuming nabshiki is 4" in diameter and sits .5" high. It weighs 6.3 ounces and is unsigned. It came with my Terumata kyusu with the Kotobuki label and I suspect that it was part of the artisan teapot sold by that company. The quality is very good and the surface is concave, not an easy thing to make come out right. The Arare (hobnail) design is very precise and I think hand made. The Termata kyusu perfectly fits the depression in, and diameter of, the trivet, so I think was made for it. Everything is a bit out of focus for me today, so I may redo these photos.

Thanks for your comment Eileen! Yeah, this one has a very understated quality. Too bad that I will probably never be able to identify the maker.
