    Modern Japanese Ceramic Vase

    9 1/2" tall

I believe this is Japanese, although there is no visible marks. Has a tsugaru lacquer finish. I bought this and another piece for my sister's birthday. It's very stunning in person with little splashes of green here and there.

Hey! Where is the image of the base?

As stated, there is nothing on the base. And it was a birthday gift for my sister, so it's in her house now. ...

Just yanking on your chain based on your trench art post....

Ohh ha ha! I get it...yeah that was a brutal one.

You can't judge stuff over the internet without all the information. Like if you look at that piece, it was way too thick for a regular match box holder. And it had a primer sized hole in the middle which is consistent with other pieces. I didn't want to show it because I was embarrassed about my lousy repair job.

That guy always comments but never hits the love button on anyone's stuff. He now is so butt hurt, he tells everyone else thank you, but purposely skips over me.

Reminds me of my father, as stated in another post. Stubborn, know it all and he can never be wrong. And when he is, he'd never acknowledge it..sad!

      Guess I missed that post.

I didn't have great relationship with my Dad, either. He has been gone for over 20 years, now.
