This looks something like a vintage Holtkoetter table lamp but the company claims it is not their product. It has an “H” stamped on the bottom. About 28 inches tall and weighs a whooping 13lbs 3oz. Wood stem with brass and opaque white dome glass top shade of about 21 inches in diameter. Picked it up yesterday at a Goodwill store for $12. Any information, confirmation would be appreciated.
Have you done any research on line? There's a wealth of Holtkoetter lamp information there.
I reached out to the company and they claim it is not their product.
It's an attractive lamp for a very attractive price! Congratulations.
It bugs me when I don't know what I have. It is good find even if I never know who made it.
It's still possible to research it - take a picture of the base with the 'H', describe the lamp in an internet search. I think it might be a mid century modern piece, and perhaps OAK (one of a kind). All the best.
Mid century modern is very popular now, so there are a lot of modern made pieces.
I don't see the cord on this one, but a photo of the cord end (and the bottom as already mentioned) would be helpful in determining if this one is modern made.

Hello - Not Holtkoetter , a US-made brand...forgot the name but will look it up. We have two of the same - the are from the mid-90's. Were about $200/each at that time.
Stiffel - just remembered....
I believe you are correct. But still not able to find one for sale. I will keep looking. Stiffel has a few similar ones with regular shades, but unable to find the glass shade of this model. Thank you for posting the info.
