Hello everyone!!
Another one of my recent finds is this large cast iron Staffordshire "Staffy" Terrier. I love the stance of this fellow. These seem to be more and more difficult to find. I already have two of these in my collection and was very happy to add a third one. Though he has a messy looking paint job, it is his original paint. He's fairly large and measures 15 1/2" long, 10 1/2" tall and weighs in at 18lbs. I've never been successful at determining who the manufacturer of these cast iron Staffy dogs are or how old they are, but it's a nicely done casting and design. He's a two piece design held together with two screws that are concealed under spackling.

Maybe the "messy paint job" is suppose to be the curly hairs of the terrier?

I love the stance of this one. I have two more of these and they're the largest cast iron dogs in my collection. This one is now joined by the company of my other two Staffy dogs!
