Don’t know much about this sign as I can only find one other instance of it existing online. The one I found online does not have the calendar attached anymore. This one has the calendar still sealed in plastic. Is it rare? I wish I knew!

Your question would be better asked to Latrobe Brewing Co. as they still produce the Burger Beer Classic and Light.

Burger beer was owned by the Hudepohl Brewing Company when the sign was manufactured. The Hudepohl Brewing Company purchased the Burger Beer Brand in 1973. It has changed hands back and forth to a few different companies since then. It is now currently owned by Latrobe (City Brewing Company) So as far as info about the sign goes I think it would be better served by someones experience and knowledge in the Beer Sign Collectors area. Anybody?

Mike - If you check auction sites that specialize in beer signs you will find plenty of Burger Beer calendar signs. Is it rare? Well a bit of an oddity. There are many., many of them for for sale but none seem to be selling. They are mostly older than yours but even with the calendar intact the rewards of selling it wouldn't take you out for a big Mac, fries and a drink. Probably better to keep as a wall hanger.
