I am trying to identify this pendant that belonged to my father. I believe it is a fraternity pendant, but wasn't aware that my father had been in a fraternity. The pendant is inscribed Yale, 1949 and my father's name. He was at Yale studying for his PhD, so I'm guessing it might have been an academic fraternity or something to do with science as he was a microbiologist. Thanks in advance for any insight.
