As mentioned on another posting..... the Ingersoll logo last appeared on the 1968 Mickey Mouse watch.
Notably there has been later issues as retrograde, but this is the last of those produced under the original Disney-Ingersoll contact that spanned from 1933-1971
Note date code on dial is 1968

Hi Kerry- I understand you have a vast knowledge of Mickey Mouse watches- My wife's father was an executive of Hamilton Watch Co. (he's been gone for many years). When she was a girl, he gave her a watch that he said was limited edition, and commemorated the opening of Disneyland. (it says "Disneyland" underneath the numeral 12). It's not in great shape. She was a little kid, and didn't take care of it. Changed the band, and didn't keep the box or paperwork. The face says 17 jewels under his feet (which are orange instead of the usual yellow which I see online). His nose is pointed at the 10 instead of 11, like others I see. The back of the case is clear...you can see the movement, which I haven't seen in others as well. I'd be glad to send you pictures if you could help me date this watch, and tell me if it really is a collectors item? I'd like to surprise her and have it restored so she could give to her granddaughter! Thanks so much for your time- Best, jwb

Hello JWB, your watch is circa 1970-72, if the hands were white, would be Fall of 1969. Hope this information helps

      Thanks again JWB

Yes- Much appreciated... After a bit more reading, I see this watch was made by a division of Hamilton, which makes perfect sense since her dad was a Hamilton Executive. It has the red hands, so I guess that isn't as rare. But all the other ones I see online have a stainless steel back. This one is transparent and I can see the movement is ST92, which I understand is a Hamilton movement. Thanks for your time!

JWB, there are basically 3 production models like yours, the plain back, display back and an electric…. Note the Electric could have either back….. these were produced under the Vantage logo and that is a sub-division of Hamilton, sorry didn’t explain better
