I'm thinking it's a 1941-1943. Unsure yet. Everything powers on. Turntable turns. lights come on. Was able to get a station to listen to tonight. Tonearm needs full restoration. Changerlocked up up.and needs a few cosmetic touches. All in all I'm really excited.
I love the “Wavemagnet” and it’s instructions to “rotate for best reception”!
My grandparents had a huge cabinet style radio that I remember from my early childhood. It’s wonderful that you are rescuing this one and keeping those memories alive!
The current generation, with the latest technology, probably would consider your radio from the stone-age....but it really wasn’t that long ago!
Here’s a tip for getting your pictures to post right side up: with each of your pictures, edit them in some way such as changing dimensions. Then click on “edit your post” and replace each picture with it’s newly edited version. The pictures will then appear correctly oriented.
I hope that helps!
