    This piece is signed P. Curi [i think]. It's a Quechua or Quichua name. That would be what determines whether it is Peruvian or Ecuadorian. I like the design on this one a lot more than most of them. Very stylized cats.

      thank you fhrjr2! very helpful info. from Peru. it's based on pre-colombian Chancay textiles, i believe.
