I'm not scared to call this 'antique' without knowing exactly how old it really is -- there's little doubt in my mind it qualifies.
It originally provided the low voltage electricity that operated an old pipe organ, in the days of early electricity when devices called "rectifiers" (which operated from some kind of outside power source to provide the same function) were either unavailable, unreliable, or not invented yet...? ;-) :-)
Its label allows it is rated to generate 10 VDC @ 20amps continuous, most of these things are capable of a good deal more than that. It was driven from a flat belt (note the pulley) from the motor on the organ blower itself, I believe I have the other pulley it was connected to, or at least another of the same type...gotta show that one of these days. For that matter I think I've also got a 2nd similar little generator somewhere, need to go looking for that too! ;-) :-)
