    Honoré Daumier Prints

    Visible Artwork: Approximately 9" x 13"
    CIRCA: 1800s
    ARTIST: Honoré Daumier(French, 1808 - 1879)

    TITLE: Divorces (January 01, 1828)
    TITLE: A Criminal Case (1865)

    Bought these when I bought the other piece posted earlier. They were reprinted in 1942. One is titled, Divorces and The Criminal Case. Interesting how his earlier signature is very different from his later signature.

      Yes, he was one of the first to draw these professionals. But he did it because he despised these people..
