Here's another of GrammaWhoever's necklaces. There are three strands of differing lengths between its hook and bead closure, held between small silvertoned bars also with rhinestones (?) on their front side. The beads on the strands are of various spherical diameters in a pattern between small double-conical ones, the several beads on the hook-chain are a flatter shape. The whole thing is approximately 16" at its most, end to end.
I (hesitate to) call this one "crystal" because its beads are obviously heavy enough to not be plastic, and because it is just a bit overly sparkly than I'd imagine plain glass faceted beads would be. They all appear mostly clear in normal light (as if they could be glass) but really caught the camera flash to display a myriad of multicolors seen in the pics -- as I believe crystal should do. Hopefully one of our real jewelry experts here at CW will correct me (gently, please!) if I'm wrong -- and/or edjumucate me on the proper way to really tell crystal from glass...?? <beg> There are no markings on it to be found.
Very nice crystal bead necklace! I have a couple of clear ones. I have not noticed those aurora Borealis ones before so it is fun to learn about that too.
