Hello everyone!!
Here's another early 1900's Hubley cast iron doorstop that I recently acquired. It's Little Red Riding Hood, but you already knew that. This one was designed by G.G. "Grace" Drayton and produced by Hubley. This one was listed in the Hubley catalog as #95 and it also has the number 95 embossed in the center of the backside. This one is still in really nice condition.
G.G. "Grace" Drayton was born in 1877 in Philadelphia and was known as the best female cartoonist of the early 1900's. She created the Campbell Soup kids that we all have came to know and love. Hubley produced several G.G. "Grace" Drayton doorstop designs. I own only three of those designs produced by Hubley for G.G. Drayton and those are #45 Dolly Dingle, #46 Bobby Blake and #95 Little Red Riding Hood (all shown in pic #4)
Thanks very much for stopping in to see Little Red Riding Hood!!!

Adorable Red Riding Hood doorstop, what a cutie! Also love the other two, and thank you for the info on Ms Drayton, I was wondering why they reminded me of the Campbells Soup kids
Jenni,
Thank you so VERY much!! I've had the Dolly Dingle and Bobbly Blake for quite some time now and have always wanted to add a Little Red Riding hood, but the ones I came across were most always way overpriced and in very poor condition. I felt very fortunate to come across this one.

Thanks Eileen!! I love the Grace Drayton designs. These tend to bring a very high price at auction when they're in such condition as this one is.
