Today's New Jersey Transit Pascack Valley Line was originally the New Jersey & New York Railroad, operating between the Erie Railroad in Rutherford, NJ and Haverstraw, NY. Although it became part of the Erie it always kept it's own identity up until Erie Lackawanna days. There are some beautiful old stations on the line. Here are some artifacts including an employee pass from 1875, Westwood Station (stone) Park Ridge (green) and Hillsdale (blue. 2 story). The Hillsdale Station was the original NJ & NY headquarters building. .
