Basket Identification

I am looking to identify the materials, style of weave and possibly the Native American tribe that made this basket. It was found in an old barn on my grandparent's property in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, over fifty years ago. The style of weave in the bottom, where you cross over is unlike any I have found on line. Many are knots or circles. This is not. It is very wobbly and feels like pine needles. Anything would help. Thank you in advance.
