The standard size for such things, this old rusty milk can came out from under an even older house where it'd been sitting for years (pic4) thus I'm not hesitant in the least to stick it right out in the weather in the rust garden to continue the natural processes of history... ;-) :-)

If it was ever painted with anything there's no evidence left, the only marks are the word "SOLAR" stamped on both handles. (pic3 shows one) Its lid is kind of ajar but that doesn't mean I've opened it to see what rust etc is rattling around inside, because it is also stuck in place enough that I'm not going to try to pry it further open...there's already holes in its top and bottom, so it won't end up ever filling with rainwater or anything...?
