This is prob my oldest pieces and one of my top favs. I believe w the small wooden pegs and square nails plus the handmade latch, handles and key hole cover and hand carved legs it must be late 1700s early 1800s. Any opinions on age??

Looks like an early piece and pine. I'd think 19th century.

It is a shame that it was stripped. During its early years the entire piece was painted and it had some nice additional painted details on the front.

Scott thank you. It really is an interesting piece for sure. Theres definitely several wooden pegs used to hold it together at one point and hand made square nails and hardware. I sure love it but did wonder about the designs that had been on it previously. Thank you
