Ring found washed up on the shores of Lake Michigan in SE Wisconsin. Can anyone identify? I've been looking for several weeks with no luck.

What is the little metal part that is showing? It makes me think that this is an adjustable-size ring.
I’m no expert but others here are....I know they will want to see all sides of your ring to be able to offer you information.

Interesting...why not reach out to local historians in your area for help? I've found local museums and universities history departments to be helpful with many of my items .

It's a Catholic Crucifixion Signet ring. It's Jesus on the cross. Mother Mary & his disciple John are on either side of the cross.

      Here's a similar one.

See, Mom? 8 years of Catholic education pays off!
