This brooch just arrived today! It has the crown Trifari mark on the back. Are these considered baby tooth pearls, the shape is a bit different from others I’ve had? Also, do you know what collection this is from, I have not seen another just like it? Happy Easter

I love it, the shape of the pearls is unique, this piece looks like the pearls are flowing - blowing in the wind - or perhaps rolling along with the water! Very nice.

Fabulous Trifari crescent brooch, the baby teeth pearls are such a lovely shape - a winner MrsT!

Hi Mrstyndall, Really dramatic and pretty. I agree, I don't think these are the Sorrento baby tooth pearls. The shape is slightly different. Also, from what I've seen of that line, they were always set in a faux prong style. These look like a pearlized version of a stone that came in several colors. You can see an example of turquoise here.

Is this what your stones look like? It is a lovely brooch and in perfect condition. I don't know what year it comes from. Trifari was putting out lines at least twice a year. Must have been quite a frenetic pace there in the 50s and 60s, so there are just an amazing number of designs and variations. Gorgeous example, I'm guessing 1960s.

Plein-air-painter, thank you for the info. I looked at the pic of the blue one you posted, and they are somewhat similar but are a little different than these. But you are right, Trifari must have been pretty busy in those days.
