If you'll notice, these State of Alabama Civil War era .05 cent banknotes have the same serial number, but sequential or consecutive alpha characters, S & T. I find similar notes with consecutive serial numbers quite often (would seem to be more rare), but I have never found consecutive alphanumeric characters, with a matching serial number. How rare?
