Russian Box - Information Required if Possible.

Hi,

I am looking for information about this box, it will be sold at some point to the 100% benefit of a local charity.

This may not be correct but I think it depicts Danila the Master with the stone flower on copper mountain, box was made in Kholui but I cannot identify the artist, can anybody translate? and are my assumptions correct?

Also, how can I tell if it is genuine?, the artwork is so fine it could just as easily be a print.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
