First day detecting...Round 2

Well round 2, was just as disappointing as around 1, on my first day of metal detecting. Pictured is a civil war period tent rope tightener which is believed to be authentic. It is solid brass, and has been in the ground quite some time. Also pictured is a shoe tap, prob from same era...Please let me find something good, on round3, sometime soon, keep you posted.
