Small Rusty Miller Key
1 7/8"
Found this Miller key. Not sure what it goes to, maybe an old lock? It's not very big, but has a unique shape. At first, I thought it was a RR key. I have lots of keys and locks. I also have a few hanging as a display.
Hello, I believe this is the key to an antique Miller padlock. If you search on the words 'Miller padlock' on eBay, you'll find examples of padlocks with exactly the same logo you have on your key. The antique padlocks are generally not expensive, so if I were in your position, I'd be tempted to buy a "matching" padlock and keep them together as a display item -- even if they didn't technically fit each other.
I appreciate the comments. I assumed it belonged to a Miller padlock. I do not have any Miller padlocks in my collection. So I will be on the lookout for one soon.
I really like your display of locks and keys.
One can never have too many locks and keys... ;-)
