I have been trying to find a piece of glass similar to this one online for quite a while. It is a simple Mezza Filigrana single spiral ribbon design to start with, but the rest is unique and I can not for the life of me find anything else like it. It is clear with white spiral ribbon, but...it has a satin finish (only found a couple satin finish pieces...not common) and then add the crimped/ruffled Victorian style rim and it becomes unique? The base is ground and the pontil is ground out concave. The wear to the base suggests that it is first half of the 20th century, and possibly late 19th century. Hoping that someone will recognize this and help with a positive ID. I do not think this falls into the MCM Murano Mezza Filigrana category as do almost all of the similar designs I have found trying to figure this one out? Although I do think its American or Italian. Its approx. 10" in diameter and 3-1/2" tall at highest points of the rim. Please help!
