I'm not really sure what this piece is called. I'm assuming a relish tray. I don't know what I'm going to use it for, I'm just very happy to have it. :)

Interesting...I believe there may have been a glass that sat in the round area...
I'm like Dave and wondering Aims if there wasn't other pieces once. A round bowl and some crescent shaped ones.
I would happily use it as is, in some ways it's more suitable for modern snacking as a divided tray.

you're on to something there dav... Smith made this in different patterns. The one you linked is 'By Crackie' and the pattern here is 'Homestead'
