The tag says “ 5 gallon Pump Tank Extinguisher “ I have never seen an Extinguisher so big or hand pump. Does anyone have any info about it, who made it, what industry, approximate year? I just liked it so I bought it thinking I might make a lamp out of it. But want to get info on it.

Cool!!! :-) It looks like exactly what it says it is -- a fire extinguisher that one would fill with water then pump up with the handle (like a lawn sprayer) to make the pressure to spray the water out. The label shown is its Underwriter's Labs tag showing that models like it are rated for usage but won't give info to who made it -- look for any other markings or labels or etc on it to help ID that part. IF you use it to make a lamp, please consider ways to do so that wouldn't involve drilling holes or otherwise wrecking it for what it is?!! :-) :-) :-)
