I'm looking for more information on a clock that I've just inherited.

So far, I've narrowed it down slightly- the clock face has the name WELCH on it and it looks very similar to a model from 1901 called the E.N. Welch "Carlotta" (the clock face is different though).

After some researching, I've learned that after 1901 the Welch company switched over to the Sessions company- and they rebranded their clocks with the name SESSIONS. So I feel fairly confident the clock is PRE-1902.

I'm trying to narrow down the time period / model of this clock further, but not sure what I should be on the look out for.

    Any help appreciated!

I think that you've done all the necessary homework here. American manufacturers often offered several different dial configurations with their models. Your catalog reprint states as much. Your example could have been manufactured several years before or after the 1901 catalog reprint.

Tran Duy Ly's "Sessions" book has this clock identified on page 142 as the "Carlotta" from circa 1908. Specific examples also could have been manufactured several years before or after that date.

It was a popular, successful model.
