Sadly this has a damaged trailer but for $5 I can live with that. I have always liked this boat a bit better than the cabin cruiser that followed it. I think it is that gold painted metal outboard motor. It is the only metal part on the boat not counted the trailer.
This model was first made in 1961 with an all red boat. Sometime midway through the year the hull was changed to white. It was sold through 1966.
It is not known if it is based on an actual boat. It seems to have been based a Chris Craft wooden boat although those have inboard engines. Probably just a generic 1950s style motor boat.
As usual plenty of exciting items from last week and more finds from today. So there will be plenty to see.
