small purple and blue pottery vase

I'm still not sure what to think about this. I guess its a little vase, but no matter what it is, I like its colors. It is signed on its bottom but is hard to make out, I thought it said "VAN BRICCLE COLO SPGS" but a little bit of Google suggests "VAN BRIGGLE" is correct instead -- if so, perhaps this is a little bit more of something than I would have expected.

I still think its pretty, and the matte glazed finish is apparently one of their hallmarks. Who knew? Not me... ;-) :-) :-)

OOPS -- I should have added that it is about 4-1/2" tall...
