Had this for a while one of my favorites. When you see these for sale in NZ they are described as "art glass bowls" who are these idiots trying to kid it's an ashtray! I don't smoke but love these as they are relatively small but can really show off some fine skills of the glass maker. In normal light it's red on the base with clear over the top and what looks like a green rim but it disappears depending on the angle you hold it, in sunlight the green becomes more obvious but under a UV light it looks amazing the red still shows well and there is a line of yellow between the green outer edge and the red inner, off course the green takes off!

Well ashtrays just aren't attractive anymore, although I seem to have lost of them!
      Murano you think?

Your red ashtray looks similar to my green/yellow one: https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/295279-1960s-green-glass-ashtray-is-this-muran?in=user
I think yours is by same maker, Murano. This red one of yours is beautiful !
