I did not know that HAEGER made any 'unglazed' pottery, but here's this bowl to kind of prove me wrong. (or at least unaware?) 'Kind of' because the inside is glazed in a grayish-green color, but the exterior and underside are just plain red clay. There is a repeating pattern of shallow scribe lines around its outside, kinda but not really spirals that appear to have been handmade with a comb sort of tool while the clay was still on the potter's wheel.
Most of its original foil label still survives as seen, and its presence might help narrow the date range of this piece a little. I also don't know the timelines of the 145yr old Company or exactly how their marking and labeling methods varied over the years, but they did. Its bottom reads "BY HAEGER U.S.A.".

It was found recently and nearly overlooked because the label wasn't showing on the shelf, until I happened to pick it up anyway and got a glimpse of the "WAIT -- this is a **WHAT**??" lettering on the bottom...it measures 6-1/4" across and 4-1/4" high.
Nice! I have some Haeger pieces but none are unglazed outside like yours. It would be great as a serving bowl for salsa....
