    Any info appreciated please. Approx 8-9" tall. Wood Viking on skiis holding a shield in one hand. Other hand has a hole in it and probably mising the sword? The bottom is burned in (stamped) Norway-Form carved in Norway. Looks to be an unfinished project. . Any information appreciated. Thank you.

      Something deep in my memory is trying to surface about a battle won because one of the combatent’s army was accustomed to deep snow and skiing - the invading army was not...and they lost the battle. That’s all that comes to mind at the moment.
