Sometimes you just can’t refuse a “great deal”! While I was looking for a few of the missing parts from our other Metro, I found this Metro for sale on EBay. I bid $250 thinking I’d never get a whole and complete car for that price but was surprised as time elapsed and I was the only bidder and won the car. Now I have to get it from NJ to Utah! No small task! Anyone got any ideas?
I googled "cheap ways to ship a car" and got lots of hits..
Kwqd, tried that and the “cheap prices” were not cheap at all. Cheap depends on whether you’re buying or selling. I’m buying and to pay 5 times more for shipping than the car cost is not cheap to me. Still looking for a hungry hauler.
I love these little Nash Metropolitans. One of my Uncles had a two tone yellow/white Nash Metropolitan that he did a complete restoration on. It was a beautiful car.
Bobby725,
In the old days I would have restored it as they are such ugly cars they become cute. We had one when I was a kid. This will look awesome on a pole with the other one also on a pole! Craziest guy in town and this will verify it to everyone that didn’t know before.
All it needs is a wax job.
How can you not love it? And the price was right. Hell rent a car carrier trailer and bring it home. Good investment.
