Not sure where he comes from is a bit unusual so maybe Japan? Blue glass on the inside white on the outer covered in clear with little spikes and a small curled tail. Very well finished but what is he?

I think more likely Chinese.
There is a workshop there that produces some interesting and different glass with these contrasting layers and uniquely worked outside clear case. I love them.
Sorry I don't know the makers name.
Thanks for your input Karen. I didn't pay a lot for him and a Chinese ID doesn't bother me too much as it is quite a neat design. :)
