My wife thinks its old I don't know She bought it 20 years a go.. The women she bought it from said it was old it was made in Germany but I said it looks like a federal 8 day most likely made in the 50''s 60's here in the states ...I would take it off the wall and show the back but we have rules she don't touch my things I don't touch her things and it seems to work out to my liken ..So any information would be great ...
    thanks, Jim

Without seeing its movement I'd vote with you too, Jim...also appreciating the 'system' with your wife. When it ain't broke, don't fix it... ;-) :-)

      Hello Jim,
      Welcome to Collectors Weekly, Clocks.
I would tend to agree with your assessment. Without more information, though, it's just a guess. At some point in time, the clock will need servicing. You and your wife should be able to find out much more about the movement at that time.
The movement may have indeed been made in Germany.
Thanks for sharing. It's a nice looking mechanical wall clock (or timepiece).
