POWER 98.9 (the "point" was pronounced) was one iteration of a radio station that had a quite varied history serving the Quad Cities USA. (Davenport/Bettendorf IA, & Rock Island/Moline IL, all straddling the Mississippi River.)

Having existed under numerous formats, ownerships, and call signs during its lifespan, I lived in the Quad Cities during the beginnings of the Power 98.9 era of the station and got this shirt then, late 1980's-early 90's.
