Age of Thailand Cinnabar Vase?

This is a Cinnabar Vase that I initially thought was Chinese, except for the sticker on the bottom that said made in Thailand...its approx. 11 in ht x 6 in wth.....its very dark brown in color...I'm not sure but I think the metal may possibly be bronze at the opening because it has a very rich dark patina along with the foot......the inside looks pretty old....there is a small square area on the foot with faded characters ???.......I noticed that at the ends of the design there is a kind of curl that I have not seen on Chinese Cinnabar vases......I'm hoping that the Vase is actually cinnabar and not a resin
