He really is winning in obedience school, the cuteness has won us all over ~!
Looks like our Border Collie when he was a puppy!! So much inner energy wanting to emerge!

Thank you Phil for your awesome comment, it is so cool that my dogs are fully trained without obedience school lol! I love the way you bring this cutie to life, he does seem to be prancing around doesn't he
Alfie you are so right, this pup looks much more the collie type than terrier esp around the nose, Imperial called it a terrier and they also named one a bulldog that doesn't seem right either - I guess the creators didn't know much about dog breeds! Very glad he reminds you of your Border Collie as a pup, and he surely looks energetic, thank you for your wonderful comment
Scott this dog would love to play with some of your cuties like your spaniels and other great breeds, if you like him I must be doing something right as your doggie figures are the greatest! Thank you for your super praise
Roy it is great to see you and glad you liked my honey boy here :) I'm fine thanks and hope you are too, husband & I got our shots and feel much more confident, had a nice meal at a restaurant yesterday. Thank you for your very kind words
His head looks a little like a dachshund, but his body is too short for that! Maybe he's a jack russell?! He's in the perfect pose for a puppy! So playful and fun :P
I have never seen a carnival glass animal before. How gorgeous is it!
Are these rare Jenni?
very cute...love the color..
Thanx for the love & kind comments

Excellent thoughts on the dachshund or Jack Russell dogs Lauren, two more possibilities on this pup's inspiration! It is very playful looking and active, the way real puppies are and very fun, thank you for your fabulous comment
Karen thank you for your wonderful praise & getting me thinking on carnival glass in animals, I realized most of the pieces I have are by Fenton, and on researching it appears that Fenton developed the iridization method used to make this type of glass in 1908, it puts a rainbow reflective sheen on parts of the animal, and got the name carnival glass in the 1950s. It is also found in display plates & other glass forms, mostly it's vintage I don't know if they still use the process today (Fenton has closed, but it was not exclusive to them)
Thanks Roy for your great compliments, I think he is very cute also & love yellow glass animals which are hard to find
This little floppy eared dog is such a sweet piece! Looks like he is ready for some mischievous adventures ;)
Thank you so much MrsT for your wonderful comment & love for this yellow pup, he certainly looks to be mischievous as if he wants to pull off that bow or grab at someone's old shoe lol!
Many thanks Daisy for the kind love for this yellow glass dog, it is most gratefully appreciated
