I'm really enjoying this new addition to my collection.I consider Beck's glass in terms of a designer rather than glassworks. There were different manufactures which made his glass, mainly Poschinger,I think.I love his projects - simple, modern and elegant.
The vases of the shape were of four heights. This one is 18 cm high. The black dots make some people think it's Loetz tango ,especially when JB pieces weren't signed, which happened rarely.I guess there was a paper sticker on mine.
Jean Beck isn't a part of Bohemian glass but he fits right here if there in't German glass section on CW.
An interesting piece. The shape seems similar to my vase, which I thought could have been made by Loetz (similar to the shape of PPN II-5775 or II-6405). https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/283429-jean-beck-mnchen
Jean Beck was the designer of this vase and perhaps it was made by the glassworks Benedikt von Poschinger. But Loetz as a manufacturer could also be considered in my opinion ???).
Poschinger is just my guessing. You might be right as to Loetz. All my knowledge about JB comes from this page http://www.jeanbeck.de/ but I don't speak German ,so I could have misrepresented something.
well gwizzzzzz which is it ...lol the color is great..the dots are perfectly done to match with skill in size .. but no picture of the bottom, one would be nice and its cool..Nice Vase enjoy the day..
