Vintage heirloom ring: "Mother".

This ring that says "Mother" belonged to my Mother. I believe it probably belonged to her Mother, or perhaps even her Grandmother. It looks like it could be gold, but I do not see any marks on it. The letters that spell Mother have little pin-prick decorative dots on them, and there is a border that has been textured with more little tiny indentations or dots. Underneath the letters, there is a background surface that almost looks like a woven design, but it is solid. I cherish it!
