Hello everyone!!
Another of my Scotty dog doorstops is this early 1900's "Sitting Scottie" cast iron wedge doorstop. This one was made by I.S. Spencer and Sons Foundry in Guilford, CT. These are fairly rare to come by and I feel very fortunate to have two of these in my collection. He was available in the brown color shown as well as black, red, green and yellow among others.. I have one of these in red as well as this one. I'll post that one soon. Scottie measures 7 3/4" tall and 8 3/4" long.
Thanks for stopping in to view my Sitting Scottie doorstop!!
