He looks ready for adoption, so cute and cuddly, love the love affair they had for deer in the 50's to 60's, beautiful piece !~

Cute- puts me in the mood for Bambi(which had it's sad parts too of course!) but the big head really emphasizes the babyish look for this little deer, I can see him/her sitting in a flowery meadow! But, the colours are a strange mix? I like them but I can't decide if they're brown, orange, green or blue?! XD It's a lovely mix of colours and I'd love to see it on a fish themed piece

Thanks so much Kevin for your great comment, I agree the rubina color is rather unusual but it has been popular in various color "bleeds" since Victorian days. It always amazes me how they incorporate so many colors into glass

Thank you Scott for the warm praise and admiring this lil deer's cuteness, he has a rather wan expression in the eyes

Phil he certainly looks ready to be adopted, as if waiting for someone to love him! Yes the vintage deer figures have always been so adorable, thank you for your wonderful compliments

Lauren he's so very Bambi-like, definitely a baby fawn! A meadow is a lovely place to picture him. You're right, the mix of colors is kinda strange but very different than usual, you can pick out several shades in the one glass piece. Thank you for your always fantastic thoughts & super compliments

Thank you MrsT for seeing the cute factor in this baby deer, your sweet comment is so very kind, glad you enjoyed

Karen thank you so much for your awesome compliments & kind support, I am thrilled you liked this deer & his gradient coloring. I am always glad to find a rubina glass animal as they are rare & I find the color blends fascinating
