Regulator longcase clock

I recently acquired this beauty. I have found similar clocks online and they seem to have been produced in the mid 19th century. The base has flame mahogany veneer and is in good shape. Missing is another weight, leader. Suspension spring and I believe it originally had a mercury compensated pendulum on a metal rod. I’ve tried researching the clockmaker but keep hitting dead ends.

Anyone have any information about this type of clock? Would I be able to use a regular weighted long case pendulum?
