Fred Harvey was an entrepreneur who fed and gave a place to sleep to people traveling across the country. From what I have researched he opened souvenir stores along the routes at train stops. This one is missing the top which probably had some indication about where it was sold. If I'm not mistaken he is the one who started Harvey Hotels
